Ludwig's solo show, Days o' Work, featuring etchings, woodcuts and rubbings, is on view at Washington Printmakers Gallery, November 30 - December 27.

Using the tapestry of nature as a backdrop, the artist's current work grapples with contemporary conundrums by invoking time, motion, passages, pathways and perception, all with a whiff of art historical reference. A tension of opposites pervades her work: fleeting moments versus the unfolding of geological time; sacred beauty versus secular ephemera; big versus little picture; unscripted versus premeditated; acceptance versus denial; fearless freedom versus patient control.

Opening Reception: Friday, December 4, 5 - 8 pm
Artist's Talk: Saturday, December 12, 1 - 3 pm
Holiday Party with Solo Artist, Sunday, December 20, 3 - 5 pm
