Nancy Hersch Ingram is both painter and printmaker. NOW AND THEN, her Retrospective at Gallery 10, Ltd., runs from December 2-26, 2009. The exhibition will include images from both disciplines, with works from early in her career, as well as from the present.

Paintings focus on the visible realm; they testify to the ecstasy of sight. Prints encourage a deeper examination of reality. Currents swirling below the surface of of apparent tranquility are explored.

Ms. Ingram holds an MFA from American University and has studied printmaking nationally and internationally. Her work is in the collections of The National Museum of Women in the Arts, the U.S. Treasury, the Commonwealth of Virginia. It is included as well in many private and corporate collections, here and abroad.
